What do you get when you cross a Julliard trained dancer with a BFA in Dance and a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography? The answer is: someone like Jubal Battisti

Jubal is a NYC based photographer and a dancer with Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet.  His photographic work has appeared in Elle Decor magazine, Dance Spirit magazine, Metro NY, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and the Silver Eye Center of Photography in Pittsburgh. Most recently, his images have been used in Dance magazine and exhibited at the Peridance Capezio Center.

He frequently collaborates with choreographers and dancers utilizing the intuitive kinesthetic timing and aesthetics developed through his dance experience. This spirit is featured in his work showcased in Persona - a photography book illustrating the work of choreographer Sidra Bell; the following video showcases Jubal Battisti's sumptuous work, perfectly marrying the arts of photography and dance.
