Remembering Rock Photographer Great Ken Regan
Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 9:00AM Thanks to rock promoter Bill Graham, a young photographer got unprecedented access to rock's large roster of legends, and a visual career took off like a rocket. Photojournalist Ken Regan died late in November (click here for the story), and the following video interview of Regan a year ago captures his story and many of his iconic images. Regan's career underscores the importance of photographers earning a subject's trust. He made his subjects comfortable and was able to shoot them at their most intimate and unguarded moments. More than a celebrity photographer, Ken Regan was a master of capturing poignant slices of humanity.
