A View From Below: Underwater Photography at the Olympics

Wondering what the story behind the camera that created all those beautiful underwater images in the London Olympics is? According to the video recently released by Reuters, the camera, which uses a Canon body and wide angle lens, was developed by Reuters' own photography duo of Wolfgang Rattay and Pawel Kopczynski. Though the camera was made specifically for the purpose of capturing shots of swimming competitions from underwater, the design model originated from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in 2010.
